Here is a look up at the Tin Ceiling
as the dropped ceiling was being removed. This style of decoration became
popular in the late 1800's and is often seen in Montana buildings. The tin
was generally in good shape, except for the fire damage and the large holes
punched into it for lights and to hang the modern modifications. Tiles were
scavenged from areas that were hidden by the bathroom structure and used
to repair the damaged spots. |
