116 West Park was originally built in 1885 to serve as the Butte City Hall and Jail. Over the years countless changes had been made to the building. There were no historic photos of the original facade, so it took some imagination to restore the building to something similar to what it might have originally looked like, and meet the needs of La Hacienda.
